1.       God created the universe and He is running it in accordance with His originals plan, Gen. 1:1, Ps. 148:3-5

2.       In the Garden of Eden He spoke to Adam about the riches of the environment and the limits to how he can exploit it, Gen. 2:15-17

3.       Throughout the ages he has continued to speak to his created beings, some his favourites, Gen 12:1-3, others His enemies, Num. 23:16-21

Topic:                  How To Discern the Voice of God

1.       The voice of God may be so loud that is sounds like thunder. It is an expression of His majesty and power, 2 Sam. 22:14-16, Matt. 17:4-6

2.       But very often He speaks to our heart through the quiet voice of the Holy Spirit, Acts 8:29-30

3.       Sometimes He sends angels, Gen. 32:1-2

(c)      You must ignore the voice of the stranger, the devil himself, or his agent, who is likely to encourage you to actively oppose God to your own peril,
