1. God is faithful. He is the God of the beginning, the God of the first month, Ex. 12:2-3
2. Why? Because He is the great planner. He asks us to come to Him so that He can bless us. Abraham never approached God. It was God who called him and made promises which changed his life forever, Gen. 12:1-3, Gen. 15:1, Gen. 17:1-8
* God made enormous investment in the life of Abraham. He has made similar investment in the lives of many more people down the ages.

3. God is investing in you and I too but we must depend on Him. He will
provide for our needs despite the current recession.

1. Worship: You must worship God in the beauty of His Holiness, Ps. 67:5, Ps. 29:2
2. Obedience: Obey His instructions even when the circumstances are tough, when the challenges of life discourage compliance. If you do God will prove Himself in your life. Dan. 3:10-23
3. Service: We are all called to service in different capacities. Service attracts bountiful reward, now and in the hereafter, Ex. 23:25-26, Lk. 18:28-30
